February is a small month, so we’re making it Tiny Games Month at Library Legends! Join us for small, fun tabletop roleplaying games we’ll complete in one short night! If you haven’t been able to join one of our month-long games, here’s the perfect chance to jump in and give Tabletop RPGs a try! No experience is necessary, and while I recommend bringing dice, a notebook, and a pencil, none are required. Feel free to bring your own snacks!
As soon as you think you’re out, they pull you back in… One Last Job is a game about putting together a heisting crew for One Last Job. The only thing is, you’re not necessarily a group of criminals. You all have a specialty, a shared history you’re bringing to the table, and that could be doing crimes, if you wanted. But maybe you’re all grown up, retired Magical Girls from some anime. Maybe you’re professional stuntmen who have to put on one final show. Maybe you’re a bunch of librarians who used to work at a mystical library that got sucked into another dimension. Regardless, there’s a heist afoot, and with your special skills, you’re the only ones who can pull it off!
Feb 04 Wednesday
Grab your young one and head to the library for some group toddler time, sharing a story and learning important lessons. Enjoy funny, colorful books, ones that rhyme, and ones that teach valuable life lessons. Sometimes we have games, sometimes we have crafts, but we always have a great time with our friends! For ages 0-6 at the Perryville Branch.
Story Time will be held twice on February 4 — first at 10 a.m. and then at 4 p.m. to accommodate more family schedules.
Are you looking for a gentle yoga class or interested in some mid-week destressing? Join us for an hour of gentle yoga, held every Wednesday. Please bring your own yoga mat or bath towel, as well as a yoga block for your practice. Space is limited and registration is required. (ages 18+)
